Meet Alisha

Alisha House is an enthusiastic professional born and raised in East Orange, New Jersey, later residing in the City of Franklin Virginia where she graduated high school. It was her junior year when she found interest in the ability to transform any room. Born with an eye for design and given the freedom by family and friends to come in and redecorate their home she found her passion. During her senior year she found pleasure in designing a home inside and out for a senior project. Immediately, she began brainstorming and could clearly envision the layout. Alisha aced the project and was asked to present it to her class. Everyone was blown away at the detailed work that way displayed. It was the year of 2013 when Alisha began to embrace and execute her creativity and design, soon after, in 2014 Elegant Expressions was birthed. May of 2019 Alisha took a leap of faith in pursuing her career full time in the event Design industry. While learning the event industry it was quickly realized how overwhelming planning an event could be, so she soon sought out a way to offer multiple event services under one roof. October of 2019 Alisha made history opening the doors of the first event design and rental company in the City of Franklin, which has made accessibility easier in her community and surrounding areas. Alisha works tirelessly in building her reputation within the industry and developing great relationships with clients to understand their wants and needs. Eighty-five percent of her clientele is through referral of previous clients. Elegant Expressions axiom is that everyone deserves the very best customer service.
Alisha offers extensive experience in event design, public relations, management, marketing, time management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with event planners to make sure all the design elements exceed the expectations of her clients. Paying close attention to detail expiring to achieve visual perfection, making a design plan a reality, which is key in the event design industry which operates in a deadline driven environment. Alisha has worked with a variety of venues in facilities with a solid portfolio of previously and successfully managed events. Oversee all aspects of decor management.
